Helena is director of the International Society for Ecology and Culture (ISEC). A pioneer of the new economy movement, she is the producer of the award-winning film The Economics of Happiness. She is a recipient of the ‘Alternative Nobel Prize’, and the 2012 Goi Peace Prize for contributing to “the revitalization of cultural and biological diversity, and the strengthening of lo- cal communities and economies worldwide.” Her book and film, ‘Ancient Futures’, have been translated into forty-five languages.
